Pastor Susan is a graduate of the Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia and served parishes in Philadelphia and in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She was the first woman in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to lead a large (2800 members) congregation and was the Sr. Pastor at Gloria Dei in St. Paul for 20 years. Her passion for ministry has centred on the gift of baptismal grace and the unconditional welcome of all of God's people.  She retired in 2010 and was blessed to be invited to serve St. Anne's as an interim pastor.  Pr. Susan and Jim have 2 grown children and 2 wonderful grandsons.  They now reside in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Rev'd Tumaini Kallaghe was born in Tanzania, and worked as a church administrator in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania before moving to London to study here. She was ordained in the Lutheran Church in Great Britain in July 2008 after completing her studies at the South East Institute of Theological Education. The name Tumaini means 'hope' in Swahili.

Martin Knizia

 

Martin Knizia was educated at the Musikhochschule Lübeck (Germany) and the Royal Academy of Music in London.

After having held a Junior Fellowship and position as Associate Professor for Baroque Organ Improvisation and Figured Bass at the Royal Academy or Music, he now pursues a busy career as conductor, soloist and continuo player. He has appeared at venues and festivals throughout England, including the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican Centre, the Purcell Room and the London Bach Festival. Martin has conducted Handel's Acis and Galatea for the English Bach Festival at the Royal Opera House Linbury Studio, and he has appeared on BBC Radio 3 with arias from Purcell's Fairy Queen.

His interest in editing has resulted in a critically acclaimed edition of Orlando Gibbons's Complete Organ Works, published by Universal Edition, Vienna.or for Baroque Organ Improvisation and Figured Bass at the Royal Academy or Music, he now pursues a busy career as conductor, soloist and continuo player. He has appeared at venues and festivals throughout England, including the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican Centre, the Purcell Room and the London Bach Festival.
